North Side St Louis assignment for St Louis Magazine

November 2nd, 2009 Side St Louis

This link will take you to a slide show of my images from St Louis’ Northside story I did for St Louis Magazine. I was thrilled to have been given this assignment as I felt it really allowed me to ventute into parts of St Louis I had only skirted around. I met wonderful people while cruising through the streets. Although blighted in some areas, I discover generations of community nestled between vacant lots and ruined brick 19th century row houses.

I even came upon the house of my late great grandfathers. It was the abandon building with the address numbers glued to the toilet seat lid….(I think that had been added recently).
